Primary Teacher – Flexible Across All Year Groups (South Sheffield & Chesterfield)

Location: South Sheffield and Chesterfield

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a number of well-regarded primary schools across South Sheffield and Chesterfield, supporting them in sourcing highly skilled, adaptable, and dedicated Primary Teachers. We are seeking professionals who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning across all primary key stages, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 2.

This position is perfectly suited to teachers who enjoy variety, value professional autonomy, and take pride in contributing to the success of different school communities. Whether you are seeking short-term supply work, longer-term cover, or a route into permanent employment, this role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across diverse educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective classroom management, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents, contributing to a cohesive and inclusive school culture.
  • Adapt seamlessly to the ethos and expectations of each school, maintaining professionalism and high standards at all times.
  • Participate in the assessment and progress monitoring of pupils, ensuring teaching strategies are tailored to meet individual learning needs.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with recognised experience teaching within UK primary schools.
  • A proven ability to adapt teaching methods to suit varying classroom dynamics and year groups.
  • A reflective practitioner who is proactive in seeking professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive and productive relationships within school communities.
