SEND Teaching Assistant – KS1 | Dorchester

Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? Teaching Personnel is working with a lovely First School in Dorchester that is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, welcoming school where you'll play a key role in supporting a child within Key Stage 1, helping them to flourish both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • SEND Teaching Assistant position
  • Based within KS1
  • Providing dedicated support for a child throughout the school day
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Helping to build confidence, independence, and engagement with learning
  • Supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom where required

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
  • A kind, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Someone who can build strong, positive relationships
  • A proactive team player who is passionate about helping children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
