Job Title: School Kitchen Assistant (20 hours per week) KS1/KS2.

Pay Rate: £385-£425 per week

Start Date: ASAP

Join Our Team as a Kitchen Assistant in Dorchester!

Are you passionate about supporting local communities while working in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a school in Dorchester for a 5-week assignment starting on the 18th of September.

About Us: At our school, we believe in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our students, and we partner with Local Food Links, a trusted provider of high-quality meals. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our students have access to wholesome meals and a comfortable dining experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Local Food Links to heat and serve pre-prepared meals to students.
  • Set up and put away tables and benches in the school hall to create a welcoming dining space.
  • Assist in clearing and washing up to maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.

Position Details:

  • Duration: 5 weeks, starting on September 18th.
  • Hours: 4 hours per day, totaling 20 hours per week.
  • Start Time: 9:30 AM.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
