Kitchen Assistant – Primary School | LE3 Leicester

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a lovely primary school in the LE3 area of Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with kitchen, catering or school experience who is looking for flexible work in a friendly school environment. Whether you're an experienced Kitchen Assistant or looking to build your experience within education, we'd love to hear from you!
⭐ What you'll be doing:
- Helping prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff
- Supporting the kitchen team with daily food preparation
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised
- Washing up and carrying out general kitchen duties
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Helping create a positive lunchtime experience for the children
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous kitchen, catering or school experience – desirable but not essential
- Has a Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene qualification, or is willing to obtain one
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Is friendly and confident working around children
- Can be flexible and adapt to the needs of the school
- Is keen to get involved and become part of the school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
