Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant required Salford Primary School, M30.
Full time position April Start.
£60 - £65 per day based on experience
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in the Eccles area of Salford who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2 across both their Year 5 and Year 6 classes. The school are looking for the Teaching Assistant to start week commencing 15th April for the rest of the academic year. The school will be recruiting for a permanent TA for September so there is that opportunity.
The school can offer great facilities, a very supportive staff team and an outstanding commitment to developing the careers of support assistants. The headteacher offers training each week to all staff including supply, so there is always chances to develop in education.
The role:
- Small group work and specific interventions.
- Supporting English, SPAG and Maths.
- Work for the rest of academic year.
The headteacher is keen to add a TA who has strong behaviour management skills and good subject knowledge. You will show positive attitude, high energy and motivation working with the children and staff.
In the catchment area of the school, a lot of pupils come from disadvantaged backgrounds so the ability to have both a firm but nurturing approach is highly sought after.
