Key Stage 2 Teacher / Primary Teacher

Are you a qualified primary school teacher available to teach in key stage 2? Are you available for full time work?

Teaching personnel are working on behalf of a 2 form entry primary school based in the heart of Colchester that are looking for someone to cover maternity for 2, maybe 3 terms. This role will see you undertake full classroom responsibilities, such as marking and planning.

The school are flexible with what year group you take, but would most likely be a year 4 class.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join a very popular, successful and forward thinking school. You'll be joining a very friendly and supportive team.

They are looking for an excellent teacher who shares the views of child centred approach and commitment to continuous improvement in learning and teaching.

The ideal Teacher applicant will:

  • Be able to work from 5 days per week (flexible to 4)
  • Have a clear knowledge and understanding of National Curriculum across all of the Primary sector, mainly in key stage 2.
  • Are committed, professional and are good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take on a challenge teaching new students and enhancing their learning experience
  • Be approachable, engaging and encouraging to strengthen relationships with staff and students
  • Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to
