Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher seeking a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel are seeking individuals who are set to complete their PGCE or QTS in the Summer of 2021. We are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Caerphilly area to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher to start September 2021.

The current academic year has presented a variety of obstacles for all and teachers have been particularly hit, missing out on placements or having them terminated short. Teaching Personnel understand that this would have been a challenging time throughout your career. There are many opportunities available for those who are looking to secure their first position as a Primary School Teacher or alternatively take a step back and work as a supply teacher to develop firsthand experience in a range of Primary school. Teaching Personnel will take great pride in ensuring all NQT’s obtain the vital classroom experience throughout their first year.

Role: Year 4 Teacher
Pay: GBP136.56 per day
Location: Caerphilly - Gwent
Start Date: September 2021

Teaching Personnel can work alongside you in helping you secure your first long term post which can begin as early as the summer term. This is the best opportunity for you to get yourself in front of schools to showcase your skills, attributes and what you can offer to them. It will also be advantageous as you will get to know schools around you, how they work and if that school is suitable for you. The summer term is an exciting time for Primary Schools as Schools can observe future Newly Qualified Teachers who is experienced will be solely focused on the New Curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate will be expected to;

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that accommodate for all pupil’s ability ranges.
  • Have a passion for teaching and developing children’s learning.
  • Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development.
  • Contribute to the ethos and values of the school and adhere to all school policies.
  • Have commitment, be highly motivated and be able to contribute to our dedicated and enthusiastic team.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires and leads children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences.
  • Be adaptable, resourceful, innovative and inspirational.

Person Specification (Essential)

  • PGCE Primary or BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS
  • Hold an Enhanced Child DBS – Full assistance is provided.
  • Registered with EWC – Full assistance is provided.
  • 2 Professional References (2 Placements)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
