IT Training Officer

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced IT Training Officer to work with one of our clients in a role starting ASAP.

The school, based in Durham, needs somebody who is comfortable delivering sessions on new and existing programmes to support the rest of the staff in utilising technology to help with the education of the pupils.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver a number of in house training programmes that support learners needs effectively
• Assess staff competencies to identify and prioritise training requirements
• Update in-house training regularly to keep up with software trends
• Communicate with departments to identify specific needs for them
• Other responsibilities typical of an IT Training Officer 

Criteria:

• Proven practical experience of delivering relevant IT/digital skills training 
• Have a high level of IT skills including recent experience in the use of a variety of IT products such as Microsoft Office365
• Experience of using educational systems i.e. Virtual Learning Environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms to a broad range of staff
