Cover Teacher – Secondary School (Specialist in IT Preferred)
Location: New Malden
Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Flexible (Short-term cover and Long-term positions available)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cover Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in IT, capable of covering a broad range of subjects with a particular focus on IT lessons.

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality cover teaching across a variety of subjects, with an emphasis on IT
• Support students’ learning and engagement during cover periods
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs
• Collaborate with staff to maintain continuity of learning

What We’re Looking For:

• Vast experience in teaching or cover teaching at secondary school level

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential (any subject specialism considered)

• Strong IT knowledge and confidence teaching IT-related subjects
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and deliver engaging lessons
• Flexibility and reliability to meet the varied demands of cover teaching
