Cover Teacher – Secondary School (Specialist in IT Preferred)
Location: New Malden
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Flexible (Short-term cover and Long-term positions available)
Are you an experienced cover teacher with a strong background in IT? Do you thrive in a flexible teaching environment where your expertise is valued and your professional growth supported?
We are seeking a highly skilled Cover Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in IT, capable of covering a broad range of subjects with a particular focus on IT lessons.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality cover teaching across a variety of subjects, with an emphasis on IT
- Support students’ learning and engagement during cover periods
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs
- Collaborate with staff to maintain continuity of learning
What We’re Looking For:
- Vast experience in teaching or cover teaching at secondary school level
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential (any subject specialism considered)
- Strong IT knowledge and confidence teaching IT-related subjects
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively and deliver engaging lessons
- Flexibility and reliability to meet the varied demands of cover teaching
