Intervention Teaching Assistant Required

Location: Hastings / Salary: £75.00 - £85.00 / Start Date: September 2023

We are currently searching for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis within small groups of 3 - 5 across KS1 and KS2 students to help raise their attainment in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.

Responsibilities Include:

• Encouraging and supporting pupils building their confidence subsequently raising attainment
• Providing feedback to regular class teachers on individual pupil progress
• Assisting with the workload of class teacher
• Support and group Intervention Teaching
• Identifying student learning gaps and helping to narrow them working with their individual education plan

The Role:

• Full time, Monday-Friday
• Hours approximately 8:30am-3:30pm
• KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant
• £11.85 Per Hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
