Intervention teacher wanted

The school is currently looking for a Maths Intervention Teacher to provide personal tutoring sessions for C/D borderline pupils.

The schools Ofsted report notes that it provides an "inclusive, caring and positive climate for learning where each pupil is treated as an individual". 99% of parents stated that their children enjoy coming to school as a result of this. Unfortunately pupils are achieving the highest available levels in mathematics, so they an excellent Intervention Teacher to remedy this.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified Mathematics Teacher with tutoring experience.
• Be personable and able to form strong relationships of mutual respect with pupils.
• Be compassionate, understanding and patient.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
