Intervention Teacher- Lostock (Bolton) (BL6)

Starting September 2021

WEEKLY PAY: GBP487.50- GBP600

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an Intervention Teacher on behalf of a local primary school located in the Lostock area of Bolton, for a role starting in September.

Following the school closures earlier in the year and the current lockdown, our client school has identified pupils that require additional support to enhance their progress within key core subjects (Maths and English) To ensure pupils catch up efficiently, the school wishes to provide pupils with tailored support from a quality Intervention Teacher.

The Role:

• Ensuring that the pupils you support can engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity.
• Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required.
• Supporting the teacher in managing any challenging behaviour and enforcing positive behaviour.
• Leading small group interventions with a focus on Maths and English.
• Carrying out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources.

You will receive full support from the school to deliver set resources to pupils who are not currently achieving their expected grades. This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to have a real impact on pupil’s development and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
