Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a teaching assistant who specialises in behavioural intervention.

The job role:

  • Support children 1:1 who struggle with behaviour in school
  • Act as a mentor/positive role model as well as a teaching assistant
  • Intervene early – help to avoid permanent and fixed term exclusions
  • Full time, Monday to Friday, term time only
  • Locations: Kingston and Richmond
  • GBP72/day (we are a PAYE company)

You will have the opportunity to work with different children on rotation, which means you could visit two different schools on the same day (with time in the middle of the day for your lunch break and for your travel between schools). You will be given a work phone and you will be supported by an experienced team of leaders.

You will begin this job as a temporary agency worker, however you will have the opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract later in the year, if you are successful and enjoy the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
