Are you a retired educator with a burning passion for inspiring young minds and helping students reach their full potential? Do you long for the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time role?

If this resonates with you, we want to hear from you!

At TP-Tutors, we are actively seeking passionate, experienced tutors—especially retirees—to provide personalized English and Maths tuition to children in the Swanage area of Dorset. As a 1:1 tutor, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to design tailored catch-up programs that truly make a difference for children in care or those who are currently not attending school.

We recognize that retirees bring a wealth of experience and wisdom that can positively shape the educational journey of young learners. Whether you're a seasoned educator or someone who recently retired but still feels that drive to teach, we welcome your application. This is your chance to reignite your passion for teaching in a flexible, fulfilling role, where your expertise and dedication can truly shine.

This role offers:

  • Flexibility to work around your schedule, making it perfect for retirees who want to continue making an impact without the commitment of a full-time position.
  • The chance to provide 1:1 tailored tuition, helping children achieve their personal best in a supportive, caring environment.
  • Competitive pay of up to £25 per hour (PAYE), paid weekly, along with access to CPD and a pension scheme.
  • Regular opportunities for local work, meaning you’re part of a supportive, dynamic team that cares about both your well-being and your impact.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent
  • Experience with primary or secondary-aged children
  • A genuine passion for teaching and helping young learners overcome challenges
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a desire to make a lasting impact

If you’re ready to reignite your love for teaching and make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners, apply now! You can also reach out to our South Tuition branch on 02380 836620 for more information.

Join TP-Tutors today, and continue your journey as a dedicated educator—shaping minds and making a difference one student at a time.
