Job description

An opening for a passionate and dedicated teacher to work at a desirable, suburban secondary school under the Salford Local Education Authority.

This is a full-time ICT Teacher post starting in September 2020 with a view to become permanent. Opportunity to began earlier if the suitable candidate is available.

Post open to ICT Teachers of all levels. Pay in like with the current national teacher pay scale.

The following qualities are essential to the ICT Teacher post:

• Outstanding subject knowledge of ICT and Computing with an ability to share this with pupils in an exciting and academically rigorous way
• A strong classroom teacher who can manage behaviour accordingly
• The ability to build rapport and gain respect of school staff, pupils and parents alike
• Outstanding communication skills
• Organised and reliable
• Ability to work under pressure
• Enthusiastic and be able to bring new ideas to the school and department
• Commitment to developing yourself  professionally

The successful ICT Teacher will take on full departmental responsibility including; planning, delivering and marking. You will join a fantastic secondary school in the heart of Salford close to the area of Swinton, with a strong senior leadership team and is the school of choice for staff, pupils and parents.
