ICT Teacher – November 2025 Start
Location: Darlington
Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (M1 to UPS3)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: November 2025

A thriving secondary school in Darlington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join their team in November 2025. This full-time position is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking for a new opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of a diverse student group
  • Use modern ICT suites and resources to support student learning
  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs and school-wide digital initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the national ICT curriculum
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two recent, relevant references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
