Job Title: Humanities Tutor

Location: Bracknell

Salary: £20-£25 per hour

Are you passionate about humanities and committed to helping students reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Humanities Tutor to join our team in Bracknell. As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their humanities studies, fostering a love for learning and promoting academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions that are tailored to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students in subjects such as History, Geography, Literature, and Social Sciences.

  2. Assessment and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments, helping students to understand their strengths and areas for improvement.

  3. Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to excel academically.

  4. Develop Customized Learning Plans: Identify and address specific learning gaps, adapting teaching strategies to suit the unique requirements of each student.

  5. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest developments in humanities education and incorporate relevant materials and resources into your teaching.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a humanities-related field.
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably at the secondary or higher education level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor lessons to individual learning needs.
  • Passion for fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
