Humanities Teacher
I am looking for a Humanities Teacher to start either as soon as possible, or in January 2020, for a South York School.
The Job Role:
- To plan, differentiate and deliver History or Geography at KS3 and GCSE standard
- Encourage and develop the students confidence and independence
- Liaise with other teachers and support staff to develop education plans
- Manage behaviour and engage students
- 0830 to 1530
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Overseas equivalent
- Degree in History or Geography
- Experience with the new GCSE grading system
- Great communication skills
- Right attitude towards making education and learning inclusive for all
