Humanities Teacher

I am looking for a Humanities Teacher to start either as soon as possible, or in January 2020, for a South York School.

The Job Role:

  • To plan, differentiate and deliver History or Geography at KS3 and GCSE standard
  • Encourage and develop the students confidence and independence
  • Liaise with other teachers and support staff to develop education plans
  • Manage behaviour and engage students
  • 0830 to 1530

Ideal candidate requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Overseas equivalent
  • Degree in History or Geography
  • Experience with the new GCSE grading system
  • Great communication skills
  • Right attitude towards making education and learning inclusive for all
