An exceptional secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a highly motivated and talented Humanities Teacher to join their team from September. Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, and/or Religious Education) to students across key stages 3 and 4.

- Plan and implement a diverse curriculum that caters to the individual needs and abilities of students.

- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning and promote critical thinking skills.

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' personal and academic growth.

- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their learning journey.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.

- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance subject knowledge and teaching skills.

Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Humanities or a related field.

- Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects to secondary school students, ideally with a track record of successful student outcomes.

- Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks within Humanities subjects.

- Passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to students.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively.

- Up-to-date knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in teaching Humanities subjects.

- A reflective and growth mindset, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
