HR/Admin roles starting ASAP IN BD12 Secondary school

Your new role!

Working with my work force partners in Bradford, BD12, I am looking for an HR assistant and an Admin Assistant who can jump straight in to a busy office environment and hit the ground running. My partner schools are big and busy, quite often you will find yourself multi-tasking. The ideal HR assistant and Admin Assistant will be cool under pressure and be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and generally help out when called upon. The Hr Team in the school are a close, friendly team who will help support the new team members.

In your new roles, your main responsibility will be to support the HR function of the school. This will involve answering phones, speaking with parents, maintaining the Single Central Record and ensuring that safer recruitment procedures are delivered in the school. It will be your responsibility to carry out Barring List and DBS checks on all new staff and obtain references for shortlisted candidates in a timely fashion. It will also be your responsibility to record staff absences primarily using SIMS and Excel.

What you'll need to succeed:

To be considered as a school administrator you must have:

  • Previous experience working in a HR & School environment is essential
  • Good knowledge of SIMs
  • Confident with resignation letters, maternity contracts and offer letters
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Able to maintain accurate data on the HR database
  • Be confident in inputting and amending data, approving changes of employees personal details
