Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Make a Difference in Great Yarmouth and the Surrounding Areas
Do you have the skills and confidence to support teaching and take the lead in the classroom when required? Do you believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed with the right support? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for experienced and adaptable individuals to join our team in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas, supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs. Whether you’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant, cover supervisor, or in another educational role, your experience could help transform lives.
Important: A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential to ensure you can get to work reliably.
Your Role Will Include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes when required.

Supporting teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment.
-
Working with individuals and small groups to boost progress in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.

Developing personalised strategies to build student confidence, independence, and essential skills.

Encouraging positive behaviour, communication, and social interaction.

Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
