Are you a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible supply work in the York area? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to join our team on a part-time, temporary supply basis, providing high-quality support across a range of classrooms.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HLTA who enjoys variety and is confident stepping into different school settings. You’ll support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, lead small groups or whole-class sessions, and help pupils achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality learning support in line with curriculum objectives.

• Cover classes during teacher absence or PPA time.

• Deliver targeted interventions and small group support.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

• Adapt quickly to different school settings and age groups.

About You:

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).

• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.

• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across various schools.

• Experience supporting pupils across EYFS–KS2 (preferred).
