I am working with a Primary School based in LS14. The school is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join thier valued team. They are a caring and supportive school with a Christian ethos, providing the perfect environment for their pupils to thrive. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to contribute to the school's community and vision.
The school are looking for a candidate who is willing to work hard, has very high expectations of themselves and others and works well as part of a team.
They offer good relationships with parents, a team of supportive governors and a strong commitment to continuing professional development. Our children are well-behaved, polite, enthusiastic and keen to be inspired to make progress in their learning.
The position entails covering PPA release time across the school and therefore the candidate will need to have relevant qualification and experience of working across several Key Stages (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) We do expect candidates to have good levels of literacy and numeracy.
This position is initially a fixed term contract until July 2019.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
