Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting HLTA's for local Primary Schools - we are expecting the need for HLTA's to increase across the Cambridge area in order to support the Governments Catch up Premium throughout schools. 

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be needed to fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant, as well as carry out tasks of a higher level such as: Small group tuition, Classroom Teaching and PPA Cover, as well as 1:1 support.

Desirable Applicants will need the following:

• Tuition Experience
• Subject specific knowledge
• HLTA Status/ Meet the HLTA standards
• A high level of classroom/pupil management skills
• Ability to provide 1 to 1 support to pupils with SEMH
• Be able to cover planned absences on behalf of class teachers.
• Transport in order to get to and from the school

Where ever you are placed, you will be supporting pupils with SEN in order to help them achieve goals and work to the best of their ability, as well as provide general support to pupils in the classes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
