We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic HLTAs to join supportive primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for experienced support staff to take the next step in their career, with the chance to lead learning and make a real impact.

Location: Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary

Start Date: immediate starts available

⏰ Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time only | Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover whole class teaching when needed
• Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support
• Work alongside class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion for all
• Contribute positively to school life and children’s progress

✅ Requirements:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification
• Experience working within primary education
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
