Due to an upcoming vacancy, Teaching Personnel are looking for an inspirational teacher of History to join our forward thinking, innovative and welcoming client school in Tameside.

The successful History teacher will join a hard working and dedicated Humanities department and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.We are looking for a passionate teacher that has high standards of teaching and learning as our client school has exceptional exam results and is moving from strength to strength.

The ability to teach an additional Humanities subject would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.

Our partner school is an oversubscribed, 11-16, mixed comprehensive school and is situated in Tameside to the east of Manchester and is close to the borders with Stockport and the Peak District. The school offers excellent facilities, a friendly and supportive environment and opportunities for professional development. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was judged to be good in all areas including quality of teaching, behaviour of pupils and leadership and management.
