Our client School based in Scarborough is looking for an Experienced Qualified Teacher of History or a Newly Qualified Teacher of History to join their Humanities department from September 2019. The school, based in Scarborough, can also wait until December 2019 to appoint the right Teacher of History. This is a full time, permanent position - initially going through Teaching Personnel.

This Secondary School based in Scarborough is looking for a Teacher of History on a full time basis, to teach History to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). If you are a Teacher of History who lives in Scarborough (North Yorkshire) or surrounding areas, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The school is easily commutable from the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Rates of pay will be in line with your Teacher pay-scale. Teaching Personnel offers weekly pay on PAYE, access to exclusive CPDs and a personal approach to teaching recruitment.

The School is a large comprehensive Secondary School situated in Scarborough, with over 1000 students. Scarborough is easily accessible from Whitby, York, Hull, Driffield, Beverley and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Over the last year, the school has worked proactively with the Local Authority to continue to drive improvement. The school has also just had a positive monitoring visit from Ofsted. Academic resilience, high expectations and a culture of teaching and learning are now very much part of the School and the recruitment and retention of staff is critical to delivering an outstanding school to Scarborough coastal communities and families.
