HISTORY TEACHER - CHESTERFIELD

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a part-time History teacher,required from April 2018, two term assignment initially (KS3/GCSE History).

- History teacher post, (4 days per week 0.8 timetable)
- Previous experience teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE History (AQA)
- Large mixed secondary school in Chesterfield, close to the Sheffield border
- Temporary post initially for two terms due to restructuring
- MPS 1-6 to meet your experience as a teacher (earn up to ÂŁ155 per day)


This is a temporary position working within a large mixed secondary school from March 2018. The school require a History teacher 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, and this will involve the teaching of Key Stage 3 and GCSE History to varying abilities within groups of varying abilities. More suited to an experienced History teacher through their NQT year, this is initially a two term supply position due to timetabling and restructuring within Humanities.

You will be required to participate in the full responsibilities over the 4 teaching days, concise planning and monitoring pupils progress over the term is essential for any interested History teachers. The school has a strict behaviour policy which reflects in the exemplary behaviour of students and the positive relationships with staff throughout school. Situated in the north of Chesterfield, the school can be accessed via good public transport links and is situated close to good motorway links

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
