History Teacher at Secondary School required
If you have QTS in History and are looking for a full-time temporary role starting ASAP until Christmas at an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school, then please apply below. The school is situated near Altrincham in the Trafford region of South Manchester and services an affluent catchment area. The school in question is very supportive of its staff and students and has excellent facilities throughout the school, including a large humanities department that offers plenty of chances for cross curricular teaching.
The role will involve planning and delivering high quality History lessons to both KS3 and KS4 students. If you are also able to deliver to KS5 then this would be an added bonus however is not essential. Including responsibilities of the role include marking student work, attending faculty meetings and helping to track the student progress levels through both formative and summative assessments. You will have a full timetable (5 days a week), however ECT’s are encouraged to apply and will be afforded additional free periods to support with the ECT program.
- Pay: £110 - £140 per day depending on experience
- Full-time temporary role from ASAP to Christmas.

- QTS in History plus experience of delivering to KS3 and KS4 required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
