History Teacher

Location: West Bromwich

Start Date: September 2025 


We are currently seeking a History Teacher to join a Secondary School in the West Bromwich area. We’re always on the lookout for dedicated and reliable teachers who are passionate about making a real difference in our partner schools. About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 (Years 7–13). The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and the creativity to bring History to life in a way that inspires and motivates students of all abilities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Teach a range of classes across Key Stages 3 to 5 (Years 7–13)
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress and development effectively
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to support and enhance pupil learning

Essential Requirments

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 
  • A Degree in History or a realted field 
  • A passion for for teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication for and classroom skills
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
