At Teaching Personnel we are looking for a history teacher to join our team in the south Manchester area.

The role would initially be a temporary placement within one of our outstanding schools in Altringham, taking you into an excellent working environment with many supportive educators surrounding you.

As a history teacher you’ll be essential to imparting knowledge onto students and inspiring passion in them to pursue History into GCSE level and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a history based class
  • Work and communicate effectively within the humanities department
  • Planning and marking will be required

Requirements:

  • Experience within secondary schools is required
  • Strong literacy skills will be needed
  • Must have a passion for history
  • Ability to share your passion for history with the students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
