History Teacher Required
Rhondda Area
£166 - £Scale per day
Start Date – September

Teaching Personnel is actively recruiting a qualified History teacher to educate Secondary School students in KS3 & KS4. The school is located in the Rhondda area, and the position will begin in September run for the duration of the academic year on a full-time basis (until July 2026). Our partnership school is willing to bring on an NQT looking to gain some experience and assist their development with continued training. Interviews to be held online over the next 3 weeks.

What is required?

  • PGCE or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate available on Update Service (Teaching Personnel can provide assistance)
  • Valid registration with the EWC (Teaching Personnel can also help with attaining this)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (NQT or FQT)
  • A passion for education

What to expect?

  • Pre-plan lessons and prepare classroom
  • Educate in-line with national curriculum
  • Take register of students in each class
  • Manage any challenging behaviours following school policy
  • Develop and nurture students’ enthusiasm towards History and school
  • Work as a team within the Humanities department
