History Teacher – Poole (Full-Time)

Contract Type: Full-time, Contract (with potential for extension)
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS) Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking to inspire young minds? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a committed History specialist to join a thriving secondary school in the Poole area from November 2025. About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching position within a supportive and welcoming secondary school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of learning and critical thinking among students. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality History lessons that cater to a range of abilities -
Develop and adapt teaching materials to engage all learners -
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback -
Contribute to a positive school environment and uphold behaviour standards -
Participate in departmental meetings, training and school initiatives
Requirements:

UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent -
Strong subject knowledge in History -
Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 -
Excellent classroom management skills -
A genuine passion for education and student development
