The Successful Candidate

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will contribute to creating educational schemes of work, writing reports, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records, ensuring the highest standards of professional practice and safeguarding.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging students with autism or significant challenges.
  • Delivering therapeutic and academic teaching on a one-to-one basis.
  • Collaborating with Core Workers and the in-house therapeutic team.

 

Applicants should:

  • Hold relevant qualifications and be a qualified teacher.
  • Have experience working with students with autism or significant challenges.
  • Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills.

 

Hours:

 The school operates during term time (39 weeks), working from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Students are present from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, so there is the opportunity for planning and marking to be completed throughout your working hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
