Full-time History teacher required to cover a staffing gap from after October half tern 2020.
Our partner secondary school situated in Knowsley are in the process of recruiting for a full-time History teacher to cover a staffing gap from after October half term 2020 until the end of the academic year. The school are welcoming applications from experienced and newly qualified History teachers and the relevant support will be provided.
- Full-time History teaching position, October 2020 start date.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,714 - GBP41,604 per annum)

The mixed comprehensive 11-16 school has consistently received a ‘Good’ grading from Ofsted, with ‘Leadership and Management’ being an area of success. The school has a recently refurbished building extending learning space and ensuring all classrooms are equipped with facilities to creative inclusive lessons. The Humanities department have seen a significant increase in attainment over the past two academic years, with 84% of pupils achieving an 9-5 in History. The successful History teacher will partake in full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking, alongside tracking progress made by all students.
