History Teacher - Kingston Upon Thames

The PWR team are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for a reputable secondary school located in the picturesque borough of Kingston Upon Thames. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-resourced Humanities department dedicated to bringing the past to life for their students and fostering critical thinking skills.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for suitably experienced individuals. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive and scholarly learning environment. A genuine passion for history and its relevance in the modern world is crucial.

We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students of all abilities and encourage them to develop a deep understanding of historical events and their impact. Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. This role is on the Outer London pay scale.
