History Teacher needed – Hounslow.

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Catholic secondary school based in Hounslow. The school is a Catholic community inspired by Gospel values where relationships are rooted in love.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging History lessons on different time periods, movements and other historical events and figures.
  • Analysing all prescribed texts and resources to develop quality lesson plans.
  • Providing extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest in History.
  • Grading exams, tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations.
  • Mark and assess students work.

The ideal candidate

  • Will be patient and understanding.
  • Will be passionate about History and will show this while teaching to engage students in the lessons.
  • Will have up to date knowledge of the national curriculum for History.
  • Commitment to inclusive learning and developing the potential of each individual student.

Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • PGCE
  • Previous in school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
