History Teacher – Hertford
Full-time | Secondary School | September Start
Working through Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds with the stories of the past? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher for a full-time position at a forward-thinking secondary school in the Hertford area, starting this September.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking

  • Work closely with a supportive department and leadership team

  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to inclusive education and high achievement for all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
