You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students to explore the past and develop skills that will serve them well into the future.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum for History at KS3 and KS4.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and curiosity.
- Assess, mark, and provide feedback on students’ work in a timely and constructive manner.
- Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to departmental tracking and intervention strategies.
- Participate fully in department planning, meetings, and school life.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 History curriculum.
- Proven ability to plan lessons, assess student progress, and manage a classroom confidently and effectively.
- Passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping every student achieve their potential.
- A team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
