Job Title: History Teacher

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £130-£251 a day (dependent on experience)

Job type: Flexible (temp to perm)


Are you a dedicated and adaptable History Teacher? Are you looking to inspire future historians and support them in their studies? Well, look no further! Teaching Personnel is recruiting an educator who can teach secondary students in schools across Gateshead.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Planning and delivering history lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Suitably managing the classroom environment to promote student learning
  • Tailoring teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Tracking and communicating with students on their progression and providing constructive feedback in order to improve

Candidate requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teaching Status)
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Previous secondary teaching experience (GCSE history teaching experience is desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
