We are currently in search of a History educator to join our team in the Fleetwood, Lancashire area. This is a full-time position starting after the October half-term on the 30th of October 2023, with a commitment of five working days per week until the end of July 2024.

Our school has recently received a "good" rating in the latest Ofsted report. Our dedicated staff is focused on providing enriching and diverse opportunities for our students through a high-quality Enrichment Programme, allowing them to explore and nurture their skills and talents.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

-          Become a valuable member of our History department, collaborating with six experienced History Teachers, covering both KS3 and KS4. Strong teamwork skills are essential.

-          Be comfortable managing a class of up to 30 students with diverse backgrounds, ranging from Year 7 to Year 11.

-          Possess prior teaching experience in History, up to GCSE level.

-          Create a safe and positive learning environment for our students, enabling them to excel to the best of their abilities.

-          Be responsible for lesson planning and grading up to GCSE level.

-          Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, displaying confidence and control with students of all ages.

The chosen candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a proven track record of teaching History up to GCSE level. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
