History Teacher – Dorset

Are you a passionate History teacher eager to inspire the next generation of learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join a thriving secondary school in Dorset,

delivering engaging lessons that bring the past to life for students aged 11–16.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT who wants to make a real impact. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of History.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or QTLS, have strong subject knowledge, and be able to motivate students of all abilities. A commitment to raising attainment and contributing to the wider life of the school is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
