History Teacher – September 2025 Start
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £30,000 – £46,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Are you an inspiring and knowledgeable History Teacher looking for a new opportunity in September 2025? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a successful mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth to recruit a passionate History specialist to join their humanities department.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, mark and assess in line with national curriculum expectations

  • Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives

  • Support students of all abilities to achieve academic success

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have recent experience teaching History in UK secondary schools

  • Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be committed, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute to school life

  • Hold a child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
