Teaching Personnel are supporting the recruitment of a History teacher on behalf of one of our partner schools located in Oldham.

Due to an unexpected gap emerging within this schools Humanities department, a late opportunity is available to any History teachers looking to secure work ahead of the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a History teacher who is looking for their next step forward in their career, with this school being able to provide clear progression.

  • Full time History teacher post - September 2019 start
  • Open vacancy - Opportunity to gain a permanent contract
  • Consistently improving secondary academy located a short drive from the M60
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS scale 2019/20 dependant on experience

Due to the nature of this gap the school wish to meet suitable History teachers ASAP. This is a progressive opportunity for any History teachers looking for the next step forward in their teaching career, with a permanent contract available to the ideal applicant following an initial temporary contract.

The incoming History teacher will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities including; planning, marking, attending termly parent's evenings and weekly departmental meeting. History teachers of all experiences are encouraged to apply for this post, with the school encouraging applications from both experienced and newly qualified History teachers to apply.

The school is located a short distance from the Hollinwood Interchange off the M60 ring road as well as being only a 5 minute walk from a major tram route to the city centre, making it easily accessible for all. With a large modern building and state of the art facilities throughout, the incoming History Teacher can benefit from excellent teaching and learning provisions as they join a supportive and welcoming Humanities Department.
