Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you experienced working within primary schools?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a HLTA to fill a full time role located at a thirivng primary located in Norfolk. You would be joining a committed and motivated team of staff, in this great double form entry primary school- this is role would be starting in October and would be a full time role. This role would include but may not be limited to- offering support across KS1-KS2, assisting the teachers with the daily running of the class, covering pre planned classes within the KS1-KS2 age range when required - monitoring the progress and development of the pupils- be able to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities- some 1:1/small group based work.
The Ideal candidate:
- HLTA qualifications (level 4)
- Passionate about primary education
- SEN experience
- Expereince working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Safeguarding training
- A DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
- A UK address and right to work
- Flexibility in terms of transportation
- Experience within KS1&KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have the classroom confidence to potentially offer sickness and PPA cover

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
