HLTA Opportunity – Peacehaven – 2-3 Days a Week – Ideal for Final Year Student ECT or Experienced TA
Are you a passionate, driven individual looking to make a real impact in education? We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant team in Peacehaven on a 2-3 days a week basis. This role is perfect for a final-year student ECT or someone with extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA), looking to take on more responsibility in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
-
Work with small groups or individual students to enhance learning
-
Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
-
Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
-
Assist with the development and assessment of students’ progress
-
Help in preparing learning resources and activities
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Final-year student ECT or someone with a high level of TA experience
-
Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers, students, and parents
-
Enthusiastic, patient, and able to adapt to the needs of diverse learners
-
Able to start ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
