Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated HLTA to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the OL1 area this September.

As an HLTA, you'll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education, providing tailored support to individual students and groups, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and contributing to the wider school community. You'll work closely with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils, including those with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons.

• Provide targeted support for students with SEN and additional needs.

• Reinforce learning in small groups or one-on-one settings.

• Support students' emotional and social development.

• Help maintain a positive and effective classroom environment.

• Assist with assessments and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with staff to support student progress and achievement.

• Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.

• Experience in a primary school, ideally in a HLTA role.

• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN support.

• Positive, empathetic approach to supporting diverse student needs.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Commitment to student well-being and safeguarding.

• Passion for making a difference in children's education.
