Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated HLTA to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the OL1 area this September.
As an HLTA, you'll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education, providing tailored support to individual students and groups, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and contributing to the wider school community. You'll work closely with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils, including those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons.

Provide targeted support for students with SEN and additional needs.
-
Reinforce learning in small groups or one-on-one settings.
-
Support students' emotional and social development.
-
Help maintain a positive and effective classroom environment.
-
Assist with assessments and maintain accurate records.
-
Collaborate with staff to support student progress and achievement.
-
Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning.
Requirements:
-
HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
-
Experience in a primary school, ideally in a HLTA role.
-
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN support.
-
Positive, empathetic approach to supporting diverse student needs.
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-
Commitment to student well-being and safeguarding.
-
Passion for making a difference in children's education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
