We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Leyland who are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from 3rd November 2025. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone looking to secure a long-term position in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering planned learning activities across a range of subjects, under the guidance of teaching staff

• Supporting individual and small groups of students, including those with additional needs

• Contributing to planning and assessment in collaboration with teachers

• Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required

• Supporting the wider school community and promoting a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working in a secondary school setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4

• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
