Are you a HTLA looking for a long-term opportunity in a outstanding primary school?
Teaching Personnel are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic and a committed teaching assistant to work within a Primary setting. Ideally we are looking for candidates that have experience within a educational setting and have a high experience of working with children. The qualification of HLTA is desirable, however, overseas QTS is highly valued if you are seeking some educational experience in order to gain a better understanding of the UK curriculum.
The Role
The role of the HLTA is to support the class teacher with learning and teaching within the classroom. As a HLTA, the role has additional responsibilities which would include covering classes in the absence of the class teacher.
The Qualities That We Are Looking For
- Recent Teaching Assistant experience within a school
- Confident teaching KS1 and KS2 curriculum
- Reliable, passionate and personable
- Conducting observations and providing feedback to staff and parents
- A good command of the English language – written and oral
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with staff and students
- Successful candidates will be required to have the following; minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
