Full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) required for a Bury based secondary school starting immediately to bridge an open gap within the support department.

Due to a restructure within the support provision, this Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school is seeking a resilient, passionate and dynamic HLTA to join their staff team on a full-time basis.

  • Full-time HLTA required with immediate effect.
  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school.
  • Earn up to £1300 per month.

This growing secondary school is founded upon the foundation of the highest quality of teaching practice and pupil achievement. Students are supported to achieve their best through relentless focus on outstanding teaching and learning.

The leadership of teaching and learning, at all levels, has improved since the previous inspection. Teaching is now good and teachers are keen to refine their skills.   • Extensive experience working with challenging behaviour is paramount due to the changing nature of the role.
  • Must be able to deliver programmes of study for both KS3 and 4 in English, Maths and Science for hard to reach learners.
  • Have knowledge and experience of working with pupils with complex SEMH needs including cognition and learning needs.
  • Experience working with pupils with ADHD and ASC.

This well respected secondary school is based in Bury, Greater Manchester and it is easily accessible via the M66 and the surrounding areas; Rossendale, Rochdale and Bolton.
